Sailing City

Sailing City is a collaboration between artists, scientists, activists and local citizens. The sailing ship Hawila becomes a stage and a living organism and can be experienced from outside and inside.
Installations, contemporary dance, aerial dance, light art and live music are creating an unique floating universe and raising questions about our future living. Working with a movement score and different stages and meeting points the duration of the performance stretches to one hour and is looped several times a day. Changing weather and light conditions are included.
