Bodies we are, time we share

A perspective on relationships, interaction and individuality.

Two bodies - two organisms - two persons.
Being cells, being energy, being emotions, being experiences and being desires. Together and individually they challenge the possibility of simply communicating or fully merging together. 

Two bodies search into the unknown. Following an inner flow, they continuously move. How will they approach each other, or will they get closer at all? Being just an organism and self-focused; self-centered; self- searching, when do they feel the presence of the other and finally meet, or will they meet at all? Fragile and sensitive while trying to touch the air and the ground; trying to exist within their surroundings. Their courageous quest makes them slowly experience how the space expands and suddenly seems to open up for them; revealing that they are two. The organisms tune into each other’s frequencies. They feel the chance of melting together. But will they then lose something of themselves, while entering into this unknown relationship? Or perhaps they might never feel complete again until a new contact with another organism begins? What are the differences between being just a body, being a couple or being an autonomous person?

Curiously they search for communication, but rapidly they feel the need of sharpened boundaries, in fear of losing themselves and the space they inhabit; their independence. Suddenly the interaction leads to a need for separation and one body leaves the other. The former shapes of fragility and softness now seem harsh and distancing. Two voices, situated in-between past and present undergo an inner fight, dealing with how to relate to the other. Big movements - insisting and yelled out demarcation lines. From the beginning being just a body, moving through frustrations and a range of emotions, they now discover their own voice; their own way of expression, and they start to sing using their solitary language. Although distinct; their phrases are closely related. And when finding their own way of expression, their fear of interaction disappears. On the edge of the future, as a new beginning; in equal fertile conversation, two persons agree on a relationship.
