Kulturhuset Barbacka 

This Project is a collaboration between the Culture House Barbacka and Kristianstad Commune and is aimed for Kids in 6th Grade and their Sport and Class Teachers. It consists of a dance workshop for the kids in their school, a workshop for sport teachers at Barbacka and watching a contemporary dance piece in the theatre. 

We are teaching two hours dance workshops and giving special attention to the collaboration between the kids, setting the focus on improvisation tasks and own movement material, writing and reflecting with each other and introducing some techniques of Floor work and Folk dancing. Our aim is to release own movement potential and at the same time focus on group interactions. The kids should develop their individual creative power and understand the interconnections between them and the whole group.
